A retired teacher, Laurissa has traveled extensively, visiting many exotic places over the years in search of both adventure and potential new solutions to her sleep dilemma, finding comfort and insight by embracing other cultures and mindsets.
She currently lives on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, Canada, with her husband Kurt and Maya, their “moon cat.”
